Laori is legally alcohol-free and contains less than 0.3 percent residual alcohol by volume. Since Laori is only enjoyed in one drink, the alcohol content is significantly reduced. For example, a Laori Juniper No 1 & Tonic contains only 0.06 percent alcohol by volume. We are thus below the legal maximum of 0.5% and below the possible alcohol content of many foods, such as ripe fruit (e.g. bananas), sourdough bread, fruit juices. This allows the body to break down the alcohol consumed quickly. We have found that women who are pregnant or breastfeeding and decide to drink non-alcoholic beer usually drink Laori as well.
