  • Sift spelled flour and powdered sugar into a bowl, mix in the ground almonds, ground vanilla and vanilla sugar
  • Add the margarine cut into small pieces and add the lemon juice
  • Knead the ingredients with both hands until you can form the dough into a ball.
  • Divide the dough into 5-6 portions, knead each portion of dough again into a ball and roll it out oblong on a work surface
  • Tear out pieces of dough the size of gnocchi, roll them into sausages between the palms of your hands and place them slightly curved on the baking tray

  • Mix the powdered sugar with the ground vanilla and sift over the vanilla crescents. Enjoy!

5. Chocolate-coated fruits

We all know chocolate fruits from Christmas and fairs. But you can also easily make them yourself at home. You only need a few ingredients and there are no limits to your creativity.

Ingredients

  • Fruit of your choice
  • 500 g couverture or chocolate
  • Wooden skewers

Preparation

  • Wash the fruit and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Then put it on the skewers. Either one type per skewer or mixed
  • To prepare the water bath, fill water into a large pot and hang a smaller pot inside.
  • Crush the couverture or Chocolate and add it to the smaller pot and let it melt. Meanwhile, stir several times
  • As soon as the chocolate coating has melted, the fruits are chocolate-coated with help. Place the finished skewers on a tray and let them cool. Enjoy!

6. Roasted nuts

No matter whether it's almonds, peanuts or cashews: roasted nuts are the ultimate Christmas market classic. Today we'll show you how you can easily make roasted nuts at home! • 125 ml water
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Turn the heat down to medium and simmer until the water has evaporated and the sugar crystallizes again, stirring occasionally
