At Laori, we are actively committed to protecting our environment and future generations. For this reason, we are working to reduce the ecological footprint of Laori Juniper No. 1 to continuously reduce. From the outset, it was important to us to act regionally and responsibly in all areas.
For us, the four pillars of sustainability are paramount: economic, ecological, social, and cultural. This means that we protect our environment and nature while operating in a just, fair, ethical, and transparent manner. We don't rest on our laurels, but rather strive for continuous improvement.
Our vision
Our vision for the coming years is to minimize our footprint in order to preserve a livable planet for future generations. Becoming a climate-positive company is particularly important to us. Climate-positive means... that more CO2 is offset than was produced.
Climate-neutral packaging

This would mean that not only our shipping but also our packaging would be completely plastic-free. For us, this is another, and above all, important step towards greater sustainability.
Reusable packaging
You probably already know this, but we'll mention it again anyway: our bottles are made of glass and have a wooden screw cap. This makes them perfect for upcycling, as you can easily reuse them and, of course, use them for cool craft ideas. How about a cool... Laori Juniper No. 1 Lamp? The highest quality of our raw materials is important to us. For you, but also for nature. That's why we use only select organic herbs for our distillates. This is not only better for the environment, but also results in a much more intense flavor. Botanicals like juniper, rosemary, and cardamom lend a special touch. Laori focuses on short routes
At Laori, we strive to keep our production radius as small and regional as possible. Therefore, we have opted for the shortest possible route in every production step. This starts with our bottles, which are produced in Europe, and extends to our raw materials, which are grown and processed for us in France.
We collaborate with a small farm and distillery that owns energy-independent buildings. This means they use their own locally available energy sources instead of relying on external energy suppliers. As a result, our raw materials are produced using 100% renewable energy!
Finally, our Laori Juniper No. 1 The finished product is mixed and bottled in a small factory in Brandenburg, very close to Berlin.
Our social responsibility
With Laori, we are making a significant contribution to societal change towards less alcohol consumption. In doing so, we are creating an enjoyable experience that is equitable, healthy, and without harmful effects on our society.
